- Remove 2 bolts securing PAS pipes to coolant rail.
- Remove 5 bolts and nut securing injection pump timing belt cover, remove cover.
- Restrain camshaft gear using tool 18G 1521 and loosen but do not remove bolt retaining injection pump timing belt camshaft gear.
