  1. Remove spill return pipe banjo bolt from injector No. 4 and discard 2 sealing washers.
  2. Remove spill return pipes from injectors and injection pump.
  3. Remove 4 bolts and collect clamp plates securing injectors to cylinder head.
  4. Remove 4 injectors from cylinder head, remove and discard 4 sealing washers.
Remove 4 injectors from cylinder head, remove and discard 4 sealing washers.
  1. Remove terminal nuts securing feed leads to glow plugs.

NOTE: 4 glow plugs fitted to later engines.

  1. Disconnect and remove glow plug leads.

  1. Remove Allen screw securing brake servo vacuum pipe to camshaft cover.
  2. Release clip and disconnect vacuum pipe from vacuum pump.
  3. Position vacuum pipe aside.

  1. Using sequence shown, remove 12 bolts securing camshaft cover to cylinder head.
  2. Remove camshaft cover from cylinder head.
