FUEL LIFT PUMP - DIESEL MODELS

Service repair no - 19.45.09

Remove

Fuel lift pump - diesel models – Service repair no - 19.45.09
  1. Remove engine acoustic cover.
  2. Remove underbelly panel. See BODY, Repairs.
  3. Position container below pump.
Fuel lift pump - diesel models – Position container below pump.
  1. Remove fuel inlet hose banjo bolt and 2 sealing washers.
  2. Remove fuel outlet hose banjo bolt and 2 sealing washers.
  3. Remove 2 nuts securing lift pump.
  4. Remove multiplug bracket.
  5. Remove lift pump.
  6. Remove and discard ’O’ ring.

Refit

  1. Clean pump mating faces.
  2. Lubricate and fit NEW ’O’ ring to pump.
  3. Position lift pump and multiplug bracket.
  4. Fit and tighten nuts to 20 Nm.
  5. Clean inlet and outlet banjo sealing washers
  6. Fit NEW sealing washers to banjo connections and tighten bolts to 19 Nm.
  7. Remove container.
  8. Refit underbelly panel. See BODY, Repairs.
  9. Fit engine acoustic cover.
