Removing

- Disconnect the negative battery terminal.

Op. 7050A20 ONE-PIECE REAR SEAT CUSHION - R.R.

Op. 7040L40 FRONT DOOR RUNNING BOARD (ONE), LEFT OR RIGHT - R.R.

Op. 7040H38 CENTRE PILLAR UPPER ELEMENT (ONE), LEFT OR RIGHT - R.R

Op. 7040H42 REAR PILLAR TRIM (ONE), LEFT OR RIGHT- R.R

Op. 7040H50 REAR PANEL (ONE), LEFT OR RIGHT - R.R

1. Detach the electrical connection.

2. Remove the rivets using a a drill with a suitable bit.

- Remove the Bluetooth control unit.

- Clean the areas affected by the rivet residues.

Refitting

- Place the Bluetooth control unit in position.

1. Secure the electrical connection.

2. Secure the Bluetooth control unit using new rivets.

- Connect the negative battery terminal.

The control unit must be connected electrically at least 5 minutes before the key on.

Some of the CAN nodes, including the Bluetooth control unit, are programmed with default settings that the customer will find when they purchase the vehicle. If the control unit is being replaced, the Parts Dept. will send a pristine component: once fitted, the data memorized in the Body Computer must be transferred to it by carrying out the PROXY ALIGNMENT procedure using the Examiner.
