Removing

- Disconnect the negative battery terminal.

1. Discharge the fuel pressure from the common rail, using the specific tool.

- Remove the tool at the end of the operation.

1. Undo retaining bolts (1a) and prise up common rail (1b) from its housing.

2. Disconnect the injectors electrical wiring coupling.

3. Disconnect the fuel supply pipe from the common rail by pressing on the quick coupling.

- Remove the common rail assembly.

Refitting

1. Position common rail assembly (1a) in its housing and secure it with bolts (1b).

2. Connect the fuel supply pipe to the common rail by pressing on the quick coupling.

3. Connect the injectors electrical wiring coupling.
