BRAKE LIGHTS AND THIRD BRAKE LIGHT NOT WORKING

1.2 8v, 1.3 Multijet, 1.4 16v

N.B.: The side brake lights are activated by the Body Computer Node whilst the third brake light is controlled directly by the brake light switch.

1	CHECK USING THE EXAMINER	All OK	Problems encountered	Operation
		Test results
	Connect the Examiner to the Body computer and check in active diagnosis that the brake lights are working properly	Move on to Step 2	1. The brake lights are not working 2. The third brake light is not working	1. Move on to Step 3 2. Move on to Step 4

	Check the continuity of the wiring from the brake switch to the Body computer Check the continuity of the wiring between the Body Computer and the brake lights See E2021 BRAKE LIGHTS	Move on to Step 5	Wiring broken	Restore correct wiring.
