1.2 8v, 1.3 Multijet, 1.4 16v

N.B. The third brake light is activated directly by the brake switch

	Check the third brake light earth is efficient See E2021 BRAKE LIGHTS Check the conditino of the third brake light bulb	Move on to Step 2	1. Earth inefficient 2.Bulb burnt out	1. Restore correct earth. 2. Replace the bulb Op. 5550D17 THIRD BRAKE LIGHT BULB(S) - R.R
2	ELECTRICAL SYSTEM CHECK	All OK	Problems encountered	Operation
	Check the continuity of the connection between the third brake light and the switch See E2021 BRAKE LIGHTS	Move on to Step 3	Connection broken	Restore the correct electrical connection.
3	CHECK ON CONNECTION AT THIRD BRAKE LIGHT	All OK	Problems encountered	Operation
	Check that the cables are correctly positioned in the connector	Move on to Step 4	Cables incorrectly positioned	Fit the cables in the correct position
4	CORRECT OPERATION CHECK	All OK	Problems encountered	Operation
	Check that the third brake light comes on	End of diagnosis	Does not come on	Replace the third brake light Op. 5550D16 THIRD BRAKE LIGHT - R+R
