FOLLOW ME HOME FUNCTION IS NOT ACTIVATED

1.2 8v, 1.3 Multijet, 1.4 16v

The dipped headlamps do not work when the Follow me home condition is activated.

N.B. The dipped headlights are controlled by the lights stalk and managed by the Body Computer Node

The lights can be switched on/off using the following controls:

1 Specific command (from the Exterior Lights Control).

2 Command from dusk sensor (where fitted)

3 Follow me home command.

1	CHECK USING DIAGNOSTIC EQUIPMENT	All OK	Problems encountered	Operation
		Test results
	Connect the Examiner diagnostic equipment and check whether the following parameters are present and that there are no errors in the Body Computer mode	Move on to Step 3	1. Impossible to connect to the Body Computer 2. Presence of errors	1.Move on to Step 2. 2.Continue as instructed by the diagnostic equipment.
2	BODY COMPUTER POWER SUPPLY CHECK	All OK	Problems encountered	Operation
	Check the Body Computer power supply is correct	Move on to Step 3	Power supply not correct.	Restore the correct power supply.
3	ACTIVE DIAGNOSIS CHECK	All OK	Problems encountered	Operation
	With the Examiner in the Body Computer mode check that the function in question is correctly activated in Active Diagnosis. Left/right main beam headlamps control	Move on to Step 4	1.Impossible to activate one of the dipped headlamps. 2.Wiring defective 3.Steering column switch unit defective	1.Continue as described in the table See table I007 DIPPED BEAM (ONE) RH OR LH NOT WORKING 2.Renew the correct wiring 3.Replace the steering column stalk unit Op. 5550A10 STALK UNIT ASSEMBLY - R+R

	Check that the body computer is working properly.	End of diagnosis	Body Computer defective.	Replace Body Computer Op. 5505A35
