Check:

• the condition of the individual bulbs
• the condition of the bulb holder assemblies
• the state and operation of the switch on the courtesy light

1. Courtesy light bulb fault

2. Front courtesy light fault

1. Replace the bulb

2. Repair or replace the courtesy light

Check the following, in order:

• connections between the courtesy light and Body Computer;
• courtesy light earth connection

Proceed to Step 3 for versions with central locking

Proceed to Step 4 for versions without central locking

1. Connections not correct

2.Interior light not correctly earthed

1. Restore the correct connections

2. Restore earth connection

Check that the door lock switch is working properly

Check the continuity of the wiring from the door lock to the Body Computer

1. Door lock switch faulty

2. Wiring from door switch to Body Computer interrupted

1.Replace door lock

2.Restore correct wiring.

Check that the switch on the pillar is working properly

Check the continuity of the wiring from the door lock to the Body Computer

1.Switch on pillar faulty

2.Wiring from door switch to Body Computer interrupted

1.Replace switch

2.Restore correct wiring.
