Noise / creaking

0	PRELIMINARY CHECKS	ALL OK	PROBLEMS ENCOUNTERED	ACTION
	Adjust the backrest by pressing with your hands to identify the sources of the noise coming from the backrest; dismantle the backrest Op. 7045D30 FRONT SEAT BACKREST COVER, LEFT OR RIGHT - R.R.	Move on to Step 1	Components interfering.	Move the interfering components apart and, if the welding is insufficient, renew it.
1	CHECK ON ADJUSTMENT PLATE	ALL OK	PROBLEMS ENCOUNTERED	ACTION
	Check that the adjustment plate is not in contact with the backrest frame components.	Move on to Step 2	Components interfering.	Replace the adjustment plate.
2	CHECK ON MATCHING OF UPPER AND LOWER CROSSMEMBERS WITH BACKREST SIDES	ALL OK	PROBLEMS ENCOUNTERED	ACTION
	Check the areas where the upper and lower crossmembers are matched with the backrest sides.	Move on to Step 3	Breaks in the matching areas.	Replace seat frame Op. 7045A86 FRONT SEAT FRAME (ONE), LEFT OR RIGHT, R.R.
3	ADJUSTMENT MOTOR CHECK	ALL OK	PROBLEMS ENCOUNTERED	ACTION
	Check for noise at the front backrest adjustment motor.	Move on to Step 4	1. Noise produced during backrest adjustment.	1. Replacement of backrest motor Op. 7045J34 FRONT SEAT BACKREST ANGLE MOTOR, LEFT OR RIGHT - R.R. FOLLOWING ELECTRICAL WIRING CHECK
	Check for noise at the front backrest adjustment motor.	Move on to Step 4	2. Static noise (contacts with frame).	2. Move the parts in contact with the motor apart
4	CHECK ON WHIPLASH MECHANISM ON BACKREST	ALL OK	PROBLEMS ENCOUNTERED	ACTION
	Check for creakign caused by the whiplash mechanism on the backrest.	Move on to Step 5	1. Joint springs creaking	1. Lubricate the joint springs with grease.
		Move on to Step 5	2. Contacts with backrest internal components (frame, etc.).	2. Space out the parts in contact.
5	CHECK ON CORRECT OPERATION	ALL OK	PROBLEMS ENCOUNTERED	ACTION
	Check that the fault is no longer present.	End of diagnosis	The fault persists	Replace seat frame Op. 7045A86 FRONT SEAT FRAME (ONE), LEFT OR RIGHT, R.R.
