BRAKES NOISY

During a braking manoeuvre, whistling or squeaking can be heard from the wheel area. Vibrations are also felt in the passenger compartment

1CHECK THE PAD TYPE AND SURFACEALL OKPROBLEMS ENCOUNTEREDACTION

Check:

  • the condition of the pad braking surfaces;
  • pad type.
Move on to Step 2

1. Front braking surfaces vitrified or with traces of grease, oil or water.

Pads of non-specified type.

1. Re-clean, check and remove the fault causes. Replace the pads if necessary

Op. 3310A60 FRONT BRAKE PADS - REPLACE

2. Rear braking surfaces vitrified or with traces of grease, oil or water.

Pads of non-specified type.

2. Re-clean, check and remove the fault causes. Replace the pads if necessary

Op. 3310B62 REAR BRAKE PADS - REPLACE

2CHECK DISCSALL OKPROBLEMS ENCOUNTEREDACTION
Check the condition of the brake discs.End of diagnosis

1. Front discs worn or damaged.

Pads of non-specified type.

1. Regrind the discs or, if necessary, replace them

Op. 3310A54 FRONT BRAKE DISCS REMOVED - GRIND

Op. 3310A48 FRONT BRAKE DISC (ONE), LEFT OR RIGHT - R.R

2. Rear discs worn or damaged.

Pads of non-specified type.

2. Regrind the discs or, if necessary, replace them

Op. 3310B54 REAR BRAKE DISCS REMOVED - GRIND

Op. 3310B48 REAR BRAKE DISC (ONE), LEFT OR RIGHT - R.R.
