Removing-refitting (page 5 of 17)

Working on the right side of the vehicle, proceed as follows: 1. undo the nut (arrow) fixing the steering rod to the steering knuckle; 2. remove the steering rod from its housing using tool 1847035000;

3. undo the bolts fixing the shock absorber to the steering knuckle e the bolt fixing the track rod end to the track control arm; 4. loosen the two nuts fixing the intermediate shaft support bearing, then rotate the clips through 180° and fix them tightening the nuts slightly; then remove the brake caliper and fix it temporarily to the steering knucke; lastly, remove the drive shaft complete with intermediate shaft.
