Removing-refitting (page 7 of 17)

Proceed with removing the coolant expansion tank carrying out the following operations: - disconnect the inlet (1) and outlet (2) pipes from the tank;

NOTE This operation is carried out using a special tool (detail).

1. undo the fixing nut and extract the tank from its support; 2. undo the three fixing nuts (arrow) and remove the tank mounting bracket.

Disconnect the connectors for the following components in the following order: - engine control unit (1); - additional resistor (2); - twin relay (3); - inertia switch (4).
