  1. Disconnect intake air temperature sensor multiplug.
  2. Release 2 engine harness to main harness connectors from bracket and disconnect multiplugs.

  1. Disconnect oil pressure switch multiplug.
  2. Remove nut securing supply lead to No.2 glow plug.
  3. Slacken clip and disconnect coolant hose from coolant outlet elbow.
  4. Slacken clip and disconnect coolant hose from radiator inlet pipe.
  5. Slacken clip and disconnect coolant hose from coolant pump.
  6. Slacken clip and disconnect coolant hose from engine oil cooler inlet pipe.
  7. Slacken clip and disconnect coolant hose from engine coolant rail.
  8. Remove coolant hose assembly.
  9. Slacken clip and disconnect coolant hose from radiator outlet pipe.
  10. Slacken clip and disconnect coolant hose from engine oil cooler outlet pipe.
  11. Position drain tray and cloth to absorb fluid spillage.

  1. Slacken PAS pump pressure hose to intermediate pipe union, remove and discard ’O’ ring seal.

CAUTION: Use 2 spanners when loosening or tightening unions. Plug the connections to prevent the ingress of dirt.

  1. Slacken bolt securing coolant rail to gearbox mounting plate.
  2. Release fuel filter from bracket and position aside with coolant rail and harness.
