REAR SEAT SQUAB – 400 SERIES

Service Repair No. 78.10.58

Remove

  1. Remove rear seat cushion.
Rear seat squab showing three bolt locations for removal from the body, reference 8RM 2531
  1. Remove 3 bolts, rear seat squab to body.
  2. Pull squab forward and lift out of car.

Refit

  1. Position squab in car, engage squab tongues in slots in seat pan.
  2. Fit rear squab bolts and tighten to 10 Nm.
  3. Fit rear seat cushion.

Remove

Squabs

  1. Remove luggage compartment carpet.
Rear seat squab catch mechanism being released with an arrow indicating movement, reference 76M 0165
  1. Release rear seat squab catches and fold both squabs forward.

  1. Remove fixing bolts from inboard hinges of both squabs.
  2. Disengage both squabs from their outboard hinges and remove squabs from vehicle.
