Exhaust Manifold Replacement (1.3L Diesel LSF) Removal Procedure Warning:  Refer to Exhaust Service Warning . Warning:  Refer to Protective Goggles and Glove Warning . Caution: Refer to Exhaust Flexible Pipe Bending Caution . 1. Remove the engine oil filter housing. Refer to Oil Filter Housing Replacement . 2. Remove the turbocharger Turbocharger Replacement .            3. Remove the 4 glow plug wiring harness plugs (1). 4. Remove the exhaust manifold heat shield left side. Refer to Exhaust Manifold Heat Shield Replacement - Left Side .            5. Remove the exhaust manifold heat shield right side nut (1) from exhaust manifold. 6. Remove the exhaust manifold heat shield right side.            7. Remove and DISCARD the 10 exhaust manifold nuts (1) from cylinder head. 8. Remove the exhaust manifold (2). 9. Remove and DISCARD the exhaust manifold gasket. Installation Procedure 1. Clean the exhaust manifold gasket surface. 2. Install a NEW exhaust manifold gasket. 3. Install exhaust manifold. Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution .            4. Install the 10 NEW exhaust manifold nuts (1) to the cylinder head and tighten to 15 N·m (11 lb ft) . 5. Install the exhaust manifold heat shield right side.            6. Install the exhaust manifold heat shield right side nut (1) to the exhaust manifold and tighten to 9 N·m (80 lb in) . 7. Install the exhaust manifold heat shield left side. Refer to Exhaust Manifold Heat Shield Replacement - Left Side .            8. Install the 4 glow plug wiring harness plugs (1). 9. Install the turbocharger. Refer to Turbocharger Replacement . 10. Install the engine oil filter housing. Refer to Oil Filter Housing Replacement .
