Removing

- Position the vehicle on a lift.

- Disconnect the negative battery terminal.

Op. 1048A23 COLD AIR INTAKE FOR AIR FILTER - R.R

Op. 1048A10 AIR FILTER ASSEMBLY - R.R.

Op. 1080B94 FRONT LAMBDA SENSOR TO WITH CATALYTIC CONVERTER - R.R

Op. 1072C44 EXHAUST MANIFOLD HEAT SHIELD - R+R

1. Disconnect the electrical connection for the fan.

2. Undo the fixing bolts (2a) and remove the fan (2b) from its housing.

Refitting

1. Place the fan in position and tighten the fixing bolts (1b).

2. Disconnect the electrical connection for the fan.

Op. 1080B94 FRONT LAMBDA SENSOR TO WITH CATALYTIC CONVERTER - R.R

- Connect the negative battery terminal.

- Remove the vehicle from the lift.

1.4 16v

Removing

- Position the vehicle on a lift.

- Disconnect the negative battery terminal.

1. Disconnect the electrical connection (1a) for the fan and for the fan resistance (1b).

2. Undo the fixing bolts (2a) and remove the fan (2b) from its housing.

Extract the fan from underneath the vehicle.

Refitting

1. Place the fan in position and tighten the fixing bolts (1b).

2. Connect the electrical connection (2a) for the fan and for the fan resistance (2b).

- Connect the negative battery terminal.

- Remove the vehicle from the lift.

1.3 Multijet

Removing

- Position the vehicle on a lift.

- Disconnect the negative battery terminal.

Op. 1048B20 AIR SUPPLY HOSE FROM HEAT EXCHANGER TO RIGID PIPE - REPLACE

Op. 1048B44 RIGID AIR SUPPLY PIPE BETWEEN HEAT EXCHANGER AND INTAKE MANIFOLD - R.R.

Op. 1048B10 RIGID SUPPLY PIPE (ONE) BETWEEN TURBOCHARGER AND HEAT EXCHANGER -R.R.

1. Disconnect the electrical connection for the engine fan regulation resistance.

1. Disconnect the electrical connection for the engine cooling fan.

1. Undo the fixing nuts (1a) and remove the fan (1b) from its housing.

Refitting

- Fit the radiator cooling fan in place and tighten the fixing nuts.

1. Connect the electrical connection for the engine cooling fan.

1. Connect the electrical connection for the engine fan regulation resistance.

Op. 1048B44 RIGID AIR SUPPLY PIPE BETWEEN HEAT EXCHANGER AND INTAKE MANIFOLD - R.R.

Op. 1048B20 AIR SUPPLY HOSE FROM HEAT EXCHANGER TO RIGID PIPE - REPLACE

Op. 1048A10 AIR FILTER ASSEMBLY - R.R.

- Connect the negative battery terminal.

- Remove the vehicle from the lift.
