Removing

- Position a suitable container for collecting the engine coolant.

Op. 0010T20 ENGINE COOLANT - CHANGE

- Disconnect the negative battery terminal.

Op. 1080B94 FRONT LAMBDA SENSOR TO WITH CATALYTIC CONVERTER - R.R

Op. 1072C44 EXHAUST MANIFOLD HEAT SHIELD - R+R

1. Open retaining band (1a) and disconnect engine coolant supply hose (1b) from the radiator to the rigid pipe, pipe side.

1. Open retaining band (1a) and disconnect engine coolant supply hose (1b) from the rigid pipe to the heater, pipe side.

1. Undo retaining bolt (1a) on the crankcase and remove rigid pipe (1b).

Refitting

1. Position rigid pipe (1a) in its housing and tighten retaining bolt (1b) to the crankcase to the recommended torque.

- Connect the coolant supply hose from the rigid pipe to the heater, pipe side, and secure it with the retaining band.

- Connect the coolant supply hose from the radiator to the rigid pipe, pipe side, and secure it with the retaining band.

- Position a suitable container for collecting the engine coolant.

Op. 0010T20 ENGINE COOLANT - CHANGE

- Disconnect the negative battery terminal.

Op. 1048A32 HOSE FROM AIR FILTER TO INTAKE MANIFOLD - R + R

Op. 1048A10 AIR FILTER ASSEMBLY - R.R.

Op. 1072C44 EXHAUST MANIFOLD HEAT SHIELD - R+R

Op. 1072C16 EXHAUST MANIFOLD WITH CATALYTIC CONVERTER - R.R.

1. Open the retaining band (1a) and disconnect the coolant supply hose (1b) from the radiator to the rigid pipe, pipe side.

2. Open the retaining band (2a) and disconnect the coolant supply hose (2b) from the rigid pipe to the heater, pipe side.

3. Undo the fixing bolt on the crankcase and remove the rigid pipe.

Refitting

1. Place the rigid pipe in position and tighten the bolt securing it to the crankcase to the recommended torque.

2. Connect the coolant supply hose from the rigid pipe to the heater, pipe side and secure it using the retaining band.

3. Connect the coolant supply hose from the radiator to the rigid pipe, pipe side and secure it using the retaining band.

Removing

- Position the vehicle on a lift.

- Disconnect the negative battery terminal.

Op. 1048B20 AIR SUPPLY HOSE FROM HEAT EXCHANGER TO RIGID PIPE - REPLACE

Op. 1084B40 ENGINE OIL DELIVERY PIPE TO TURBOCHARGER - R + R

Op. 1080B90 LAMBDA SENSOR - R.R.

Op. 1048A50 TURBOCHARGER AIR INTAKE PIPE - R.R.

Op. 1076B20 REAR EXHAUST SILENCER - R + R

Op. 1076B40 CENTRE EXHAUST PIPE - R.R.

Op. 1064A11 TURBOCHARGER WITH CATALYTIC CONVERTER - R.R.

- Position a suitable container for collecting the coolant.

1. Undo bolt (1a) and release retaining pipe (1b).

2. Open retaining band (2a) and disconnect water return hose (2b) to the heater.

3. Undo bolt (3a) and remove water pump rigid inlet pipe (3b) complete with O-ring.

Refitting

- Fit the rigid fluid entry pipe complete with O-ring and screw in the bolt.

- Connect the rigid pipe to the water return hose to the heater and secure with a new retaining cover.

- Secure the rigid retaining pipe and tighten the bolt.
