DASHBOARD CREAKING

1.2 8v, 1.3 Multijet, 1.4 16v

With the vehicle moving, particularly over rough ground or during acceleration or braking, noise can be heard from the dashboard area

to identify the area where the creaking is coming from.

In particular, check for:

  • insulating material around the cables;
  • felt pads in the coupling area with the dashboard;
  • free movement of the steering wheel height adjustment device;
  • fastening of the column cover housings

Restore the correct fastening on the dashboard.

Restore the felt pads if necessary.
