DISPLAY DOES NOT SHOW RANGE ON TRIP MODULE
With the key ON, the range reading on the display (one of the displays on the TRIP COMPUTER module) is not operational.
The display shows the range processed by the instrument panel node on the basis of information received from the body computer node (distance and fuel level as a percentage) and from the engine management node (consumption) made available to the instrument panel node via the B-CAN and C-CAN networks respectively.
This data is then weighed on the capacity of the tank, programmed at the end of the line.
In the absence of speed information (from the Brake Node) or instantaneous fuel consumption data (from the Engine Control Node) or fuel level (from the Body Computer), the range information will be replaced by the reading "----"
