CODE FUNCTIONAL DESCRIPTION
When the key is turned to position M, the aerial P091 (pins 4, 6) supplies an encrypted code contained in the ignition key to steering wheel control unit M093 (same pins connector E).
Control unit M093 (pins 1 and 3 connector A) communicates the key code to body computer M001 (pins 5 and 3 connector G respectively) via the CAN network.
See E1050 CAN CONNECTION LINES
Once checked, this information allows body computer node M001 (pins 8 and 10 connector D) to communicate an enablement signal to engine control unit M010 (pins A3 and A4 connector A) via the CAN network.
See E5010 STARTING AND RECHARING
The steering wheel node control unit m093 receives a power supply (pin 5 connector A and pin 4 connector D) from the Body computer node M001 (pin 11 connector B and pin 1 connector G respectively) via two lines only the second of which is protected by fuse F04.
