ENGINE LH MOUNTING - UP TO 97.5 MY

Service repair no - 12.45.30

Remove

Engine lh mounting - up to 97.5 my – Service repair no - 12.45.30
  1. Release throttle cable from clip on PAS hose and release PAS hose from support bracket.
  2. Release PAS fluid reservoir from bracket.
  3. Remove drive belt adjusting screw from PAS pump.
  4. Remove 2 bolts securing PAS pump to bracket.
  5. Move pump aside and keep upright to avoid oil spillage.
  6. Support engine on a jack.

CAUTION: Use a block of wood or rubber pad to protect sump.

  1. Remove through bolt securing LH engine mounting to bracket on body.
  2. Remove 2 nuts and 1 bolt. Remove LH engine mounting.

Refit

  1. Fit LH engine mounting.
  2. Fit 2 nuts and 1 bolt and tighten to 50 Nm.
  3. Fit through bolt and tighten to 75 Nm.
  4. Remove jack.
  5. Fit PAS pump to bracket, fit but do not tighten bolts and start belt adjusting screw.
  6. Fit PAS drive belt to pump pulley and tension belt. See STEERING, Adjustments.
  7. Fit PAS fluid reservoir to bracket.
  8. Fit PAS hose to support bracket and throttle cable to clip.
