Emission 2 way valve

6. Fit seal to pick up unit.
7. Fit pick up unit to tank and tighten nuts to 10 Nm.
8. Connect hose to fuel cut off valve.
9. Fit feed hose clip to tank flange and fit feed hose into clip.
10. Align breather and return pipe clip to tank flange and fit nut.
11. Ensure fuel gauge tank unit and tank mating faces are clean.
12. Fit seal and fuel tank unit, secure with locking ring.
13. Using the block of wood and jack as a support, position fuel tank under vehicle and align to body.
14. Fit tank straps and tighten bolts to 40 Nm.
15. Remove support jack and block of wood.
16. Fit fuel feed hose connection fully onto pipe and ensure it is retained.
17. Connect fuel return hose and secure with clip.
18. Connect breather hose to neck and secure with clip.
19. Connect filler hose and secure with clip
20. Fit fuel pipe guard and secure with 2 scrivets and 2 bolts.
21. Align handbrake cable clip and secure with bolt.
22. Fit heat shield and secure with bolts.
23. Align exhaust tail pipe and connect mountings.
24. Remove stand(s) and lower vehicle.
25. Connect multiplug to fuel gauge tank unit and fit rubber cover.
26. Fit tank unit access cover and secure with screws.
27. Fit sound deadening.
28. Raise seat squab.
29. Fit boot floor carpet and close boot.
30. Connect battery earth lead.

EMISSION 2 WAY VALVE

Service repair no - 19.55.25

Remove

1. Remove fuel tank assembly. See FUEL DELIVERY SYSTEM, Repairs.

2. Release 2 clips and disconnect 2 breather hoses from breather valve.
3. Remove nut securing breather valve to mounting bracket.
4. Remove breather valve.

Refit

1. Remove plugs from new breather valve and fit to old.
2. Position breather valve to mounting bracket, fit nut and tighten to 9 Nm .
3. Connect hoses to breather valve and secure with clips.
4. Fit fuel tank assembly. See FUEL DELIVERY SYSTEM, Repairs.
