15. Loosen FIP shaft clamp bolt.
16. Remove spacer from clamp bolt.
17. Tighten clamp bolt to 31 Nm.

• CAUTION: DO NOT exceed specified
• torque. Damage to the shaft will render the
• FIP inoperable.

18. Remove FIP drive gear retaining nut.
19. Remove locking pin tool 18G 1717 from FIP drive gear.

20. Fit tool 18G 1512 to FIP drive gear.
21. Rotate tool 18G 1512 centre bolt clockwise to release FIP drive gear from taper.
22. Remove tool 18G 1512 from drive gear.

23. Remove nut and disconnect feed lead from No. 2 glow plug.
