  1. Raise front of vehicle.

  1. Remove road wheel(s).
  2. Remove exhaust front pipe. See REPAIR MANUAL - Manifold & Exhaust System.

Models with automatic gearbox

  1. Remove 4 bolts securing gear selector cable cover to gearbox and remove cover.
Models with automatic gearbox – Remove 4 bolts securing gear selector cable cover to gearbox and remove cover.
  1. Release lock washer and remove bolt securing selector cable to gearbox. Discard lockwasher.
  2. Release selector cable from gearbox.
