RADIATOR COOLING FAN AND MOTOR

Service repair no - 26.25.23

Remove

  1. Remove intercooler. See ENGINE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM - EDC, Repairs.
  2. Remove air cleaner. See ENGINE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM - EDC, Repairs.
  3. Remove underbelly panel. See BODY, Repairs.
Radiator cooling fan and motor – Remove underbelly panel. See BODY, Repairs.
  1. Disconnect multiplugs from radiator cooling fans.
  2. Release 3 harness clips on underside of cooling fan housing.
  3. Remove 4 bolts securing cooling fan housing to radiator.
  4. Remove cooling fan housing. Do not carry out further dismantling if component is removed for access only.

  1. Remove 3 nuts securing motor to fan housing and remove motor.

Refit

  1. Fit motor to fan housing, fit and tighten nuts to 6 Nm.
  2. Position cooling fan housing to radiator.
  3. Tighten bolts to 6 Nm.
  4. Connect cooling fan multiplugs.
  5. Position harness and secure to clips.
  6. Fit underbelly panel. See BODY, Repairs.
  7. Fit air cleaner. See ENGINE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM - EDC, Repairs.
  8. Fit intercooler. See ENGINE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM - EDC, Repairs.
