  1. Remove 2 clips securing universal joint cover and remove cover.
  2. Fold carpet back and remove 3 studs securing access plate.
  3. Remove access plate.
  4. Remove bolt securing universal joint to column.

  1. Release 3 multiplugs and fuse holder from bracket on steering column.
  2. Disconnect 2 column switch multiplugs.
  3. Disconnect airbag harness multiplug.
Disconnect airbag harness multiplug.
  1. Disconnect 2 starter switch harness connectors from fuse box.
Disconnect 2 starter switch harness connectors from fuse box.
  1. Remove 2 bolts securing steering column clamp to lower mounting and remove clamp.
