Models fitted with passenger airbag.

21. Remove 2 bolts securing passenger’s side of fascia to body brackets.
22. Remove bolt securing driver’s side of fascia to body bracket.
23. Remove 2 bolts securing centre of fascia to body bracket.
24. Remove bolt securing centre of fascia to body.
25. Ensuring all cables are free, remove fascia panel.

Refit

1. Position fascia to vehicle and position cables.
2. Fit centre mounting bolt and tighten to 9 Nm.
3. Fit bolt securing driver’s side of fascia to body bracket and tighten to 9 Nm.
4. Fit bolts securing centre of fascia to body bracket and tighten to 9 Nm.
5. Fit bolts securing passenger’s side of fascia to body brackets and tighten to 9 Nm.
6. Fit bolts securing ends of fascia to body brackets.
7. Fit end retaining bolt covers to fascia.
8. Position heater controls and secure with screws.
9. Connect SRS harness multiplug.
10. Position SRS harness earth strap. Fit and tighten bolt to 9 Nm.
11. Connect multiplug to SRS control unit and secure with clip.
12. Fit cover to SRS control unit and secure with scrivets.
13. Connect fascia harness multiplugs to fuse box.
14. Connect fascia harness multiplugs and secure multiplug to fascia rail.
15. Connect multiplug to mirror switch and fit switch to fascia.
16. Fit fuse box cover and secure with turnbuckles.

Models fitted with passenger airbag.

17. Position passenger airbag to fascia and connect multiplugs.
18. Fit passenger airbag to fascia. Fit and tighten Torx screws to 9 Nm.

21. Fit steering column switch assembly. See ELECTRICAL, Repairs.
22. Fit front console. See this section.
23. Connect both battery leads, earth lead last.
