Service Repair No. 88.25.32

Remove

  1. Disconnect battery earth lead.
  2. Open luggage compartment.
  3. Lift luggage compartment floor carpet to gain access to access plate.

  1. Remove screws securing access plate to floor.
  2. Remove access plate.
  3. Release multiplug cover.

  1. Disconnect multiplug from tank unit.

  1. Position tool 18G 1595 to locking ring.
  2. Release locking ring by turning anti – clockwise.
  3. Remove tool 18G 1595.

  1. Remove locking ring.
  2. Remove fuel tank unit.
  3. Remove sealing ring.

Refit

  1. Clean fuel tank unit and mating surface.
  2. Fit seal to fuel tank unit.
