Engine Flywheel Replacement

Special Tools

•  EN-470-B   Angle Torque Wrench
•  EN-652   Fixing Tool

For equivalent regional tools, refer to Special Tools .

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the clutch pressure and driven plate. Refer to Clutch Pressure and Driven Plate Replacement .
2. Install the EN-652   fixing tool in order to fix the engine flywheel.

3. Remove and DISCARD the 8 engine flywheel bolts (2).
4. Remove the EN-652   fixing tool .
5. Remove the engine flywheel (1).

Installation Procedure

1. Install the engine flywheel (1).
2. Install the EN-652   fixing tool in order to fix the engine flywheel.

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution .

3. Install the 8 NEW engine flywheel bolts (2) and tighten in the following order:
  •  Tighten the bolts to 15 N·m (11 lb ft) .
  •  Tighten to an additional 35° . Use the EN-470-B   torque wrench .
4. Remove the EN-652   fixing tool .
5. Install the clutch pressure and driven plate. Refer to Clutch Pressure and Driven Plate Replacement .
