Removing

- 1016A10 sound-proofing cover - r + r

- 5530B56 BATTERY DRIP TRAY COVER - R.R.

- 5530B52 Battery DRIP TRAY/SUPPORT - R.R.

1. Undo the bolts securing the rigid pipe to the throttle body.

2. Undo the bolts securing the rigid pipe to the gearbox bell housing

Removing

- 1016A10 sound-proofing cover - r + r

- 7055B42 Additional FRONT WHEEL ARCH (one), left or right - R.R.

1. Unscrew the bolts securing the rigid pipe to the throttle body.

2. Working from the wheel arch, undo the bolt fixing the rigid pipe to the gearbox bell housing.

Removing

- 1016A10 sound-proofing cover - r + r.

- 5530B56 BATTERY DRIP TRAY COVER - R.R..

1. Unscrew the bolt securing the air intake pipe to the throttle body.

2. Move the air intake pipe away from the throttle body.

3. Open the band and release the vacuum pipe.

4. Disconnect the engine oil vapour recovery pipe from the filler fitting.

1. Disconnect the vacuum pipe from the pneumatic valve on the throttle body.

2. Undo bolts (2a) and disconnect the expansion coupling on EGR valve (2b) from the throttle body.

3. Undo the fixing bolt (3a) and remove the throttle body (3b).

Remove the gasket.

1. Disconnect the vacuum pipe from the pneumatic valve on the throttle body.

2. Undo bolts (2a) and disconnect the expansion coupling on EGR valve (2b) from the throttle body.

3. Undo the fixing bolt (3a) and remove the throttle body (3b).

Remove the gasket.

1. Disconnect the vacuum pipe from the pneumatic valve on the throttle body.

2. Undo the bolts (2a) and remove the electropneumatically controlled throttle body (2b) complete with gasket (2c).

Refitting

Fit the throttle body to the intake manifold and gasket.

Tighten the bolts retaining the throttle casing to the intake manifold.

Connect the vacuum pipe to the mount bracket.

Connect the expansion joint to the throttle body and tighten the retaining bolts.

Connect the vacuum pipe to the pneumatic valve on the throttle body.

Do up the bolts securing the rigid pipe to the gearbox bell housing

Tighten the bolts securing the rigid pipe to the throttle body.

Refitting

Fit the throttle body to the intake manifold and gasket.

Tighten the bolts retaining the throttle casing to the intake manifold.

Connect the vacuum pipe to the mount bracket.

Connect the expansion joint to the throttle body and tighten the retaining bolts.

Connect the vacuum pipe to the pneumatic valve on the throttle body.

Working from the wheelarch, tighten the bolt fixing the rigid pipe to the gearbox bell housing

Tighten the bolts fixing the rigid pipe to the throttle body.

- 7055B42 Additional FRONT WHEEL ARCH (one), left or right - R.R.

Refitting

Fit the electropneumatically controlled throttle body with gasket and secure by tightening the bolts to the specified torque.

Connect the vacuum pipe to the pneumatic valve on the throttle body.

Connect the air intake pipe to to the throttle body and tighten the bolts to torque.

Connect the oil vapour recovery pipes and secure using the bands.

Close the collar and secure the vacuum pipe.
