  1. Fit new seal, connect PAS cooler pipe and tighten union nut to 24 Nm (18 lbf ft). Power steering pressure check - V8 LHD
  2. LHD only: Fit turbocharger intercooler feed

pipe and vacuum connection. Fit new seal to air cleaner. Connect air intake hose and secure

$% 57.90.10.01 clips. Connect multiplug to MAF sensor.

  1. Clean chassis and surrounding area. Check
  2. Fit underbelly panel. EXTERIOR FITTINGS, REPAIRS, Panel - underbelly.
  3. Remove adaptor and hose set from tool LRT- 57-041.
  4. Check PAS fluid level.
  5. Connect battery earth lead.

1. Disconnect battery earth lead.

  1. Syphon PAS fluid from reservoir.
  2. Raise front of vehicle and support on stands.
  3. Turn steering on LH lock.
Models – Turn steering on LH lock.
  1. Remove 3 screws securing LH splash shield and remove shield.
Models – Remove 3 screws securing LH splash shield and remove shield.
  1. Release clip securing PAS pipes.
  2. Position absorbent cloth to catch spillage.
  3. Position container to collect PAS fluid spillage.
