Refit

Diagram
  1. Clean seal face on new sunroof tray.
  2. Remove backing paper from new seals and fit to sunroof.
  3. Fit sunroof assembly, centralise in roof aperture and tighten bolts to 9 Nm.
  • NOTE: Side to side adjustment of the
  • sunroof is carried out at this stage of the
  • refit.
  1. Tighten bolts securing motor bracket to roof panel.
  2. Secure harness clips to sunroof tray.
  3. Fit grab handle bracket and secure with bolts.
  4. Fit relay holders to brackets and connect motor multiplug.
  5. Connect drain tubes and secure with clips.
  6. Fit headlining. See REPAIR MANUAL - Body.
  7. Adjust height of sun roof glass. See this section.

DRIVE CABLE

Service repair no - 76.82.50

Remove

  1. Remove the sunroof assembly. See this section.
  2. Slide back the sunshade.
Drive cable – Slide back the sunshade.
  1. Remove 6 screws, and remove the glass

  1. Release the motor multiplug from mounting bracket.
  2. Remove 3 T20 Torx screws and remove the motor.
