Injection signal check

Prepare the diagnostic equipment to download a voltage graph.

Select the VOLTMETER function from the INSTRUMENT menu with the time set at 5 seconds.

Connect disconnector AD 223 N° 1806388000 between the injector being tested and the wiring

Press the START button on the diagnostic equipment to begin downloading a graph.

Crank the engine and check that the signal corresponds to the attached graph

Injection wiring check

Check the continuity of the wiring for the injection signals between the injectors and the engine control unit

Move on to Step 3

Restore the correct wiring between the engine control unit and the injectors.

Replace the engine management control unit

Injector power supply check

Check that the injectors are correctly supplied

Move on to Step 4

Injector resistance check

Disconnect the injector connector

Connect disconnector AD 223 N° 1806388000 to the injector being tested, keeping the wiring-side towards the engine control unit disconnected

Connect the Examiner in ohmmeter mode between the injector terminals and then check the resistance:

the value should be 0.25 Ohm ± 10% at 20°C

Replace the injector
