Delivery pressure check

Disconnect the negative battery lead

Connect the diagnostic equipment pressure transducer between the fuel delivery pipe and the delivery connector on the fuel filter (point 1c) using Kit N° 1870885001 and Kit 2000024501 (connection pipes) used with Kit EX 07 contained in case N° 1806338000.

Reconnect the negative battery lead

Start the engine.

Check that the pressure reading on the Examiner pressure gauge is between 2.8 and 3.2 bar.

Restore the fuel delivery pipe (possible obstructions in the pipe)

Restore the system seal. Eliminate any leaks from the fuel pipe

Replace the fuel filter (over-flow valve on the filter faulty or filter blocked)

Op. 1044B10 FUEL FILTER ASSEMBLY - R + R OR REPLACE

Replace the electric fuel pump

Op. 1040A70 SUBMERGED PUMP ASSEMBLY COMPLETE WITH LEVEL GAUGE CONTROL - R + R

Restore pump electrical power supply

Replace the pump relay

Replace faulty Hp pump (shut-OFF valve blocked shut)
