DEBIMETER OPERATION CHECK
| STEP | CHECK TO BE PERFORMED | RESOLUTION IF THE CHECK IS NOT OK |

| 1 | Turn the ignition key OFF. Disconnect the wiring harness connector from the air flow meter. Turn the ignition key ON. Check that the resistance across pin 1 (wiring side) of the gauge and the earth is greater than 11 V. Move on to Step 3 | Move on to Step 2 |
| 2 | If faults are found, restore the wiring between the engine compartment junction unit and the debimeter See E5050 DIESEL ENGINES ELECTRONIC MANAGEMENT Replace it if necessary. The test can be considered over | Replace the junction unit Op. 5505A13 ADDITIONAL JUNCTION UNIT IN ENGINE COMPARTMENT - R.R. |
| 3 | Check that the resistance across pins 1 and 2 (wiring side) of the gauge Replace the wiring if necessary is greater than 11 V. Move on to Step 5 | Move on to Step 4 |
| 4 | If faults are found, restore the wiring between the engine control unit and the debimeter See E5050 DIESEL ENGINES ELECTRONIC MANAGEMENT Replace it if necessary. The test can be considered over | Replace the engine management control unit |
| 5 | Check that the resistance across pin 3 (wiring side) of the gauge and earth is between 4.8 and 5.2 V | Move on to Step 4 |
| 6 | Replace the debimeter | Repair the original debimeter and replace the engine management control unit. |
