1. Disconnect the electrical connection for the fuel pressure regulator on the pressure pump.

2. Disconnect the fuel supply pipe rapid connector, pressure pump side.

3. Loosen the band and disconnect the fuel return pipe from the pressure pump to the fuel return manifold, pressure pump side.

1. Undo the connector (1a) and disconnect the pipe from the pressure pump to the fuel manifold (1b), pressure pump side.

2. Undo the nuts (2a) and remove the pressure pump (2b) from the support.

Refitting

- Position the pressure pump in its housing and secure it by tightening the nuts to the recommended torque.

- Connect the pipe from the pressure pump to the fuel manifold, pressure pump side and tighten the connector to the recommended torque.

The pipe from the pressure pump to the fuel manifold, pressure pump side is replaced each time the connectors are loosened.

Op. 1060F20 PIPE FROM PRESSURE PUMP TO FUEL MANIFOLD - R.R.

- Connect the fuel return pipe from the pressure pump to the fuel return manifold, pressure pump side and tighten the band.

- Connect the fuel supply pipe rapid connector, pressure pump side.

- Connect the electrical connection to the fuel pressure regulator on the pressure pump.

Removing

Op. 5530B10 BATTERY - R+R

1. Disconnect the rapid connector for the fuel supply pipe from the filter to the pressure pump, pressure pump side.

2. Loosen the connectors (2a) and remove the pipe from the pressure pump to the fuel manifold (2b).

Use a new pipe from the pressure pump to the fuel manifold when refitting.

3. Loosen the band and disconnect the fuel return pipe from the pressure pump, pressure pump side.

1. Undo the bolts (1a) and remove the water pump (1b) complete with O-ring and coupling (1c).

Refitting

- Place the water pump, complete with new O-ring in its housing and secure it tightening the bolts to the recommended torque.

- Connect the fuel return pipe from the pressure pump, pressure pump side and tighten the band.

- Place a new pipe from the pressure pump to the single fuel manifold in its housing and secure it using the connectors without tightening them.

- Tighten the connector for the pipe from the pressure pump to the single fuel manifold, pump side, to the recommended torque using a spanner.

- Tighten the connector for the pipe from the pressure pump to the single fuel manifold, fuel manifold side, to the recommended torque using a spanner.

- Disconnect the rapid connector for the fuel supply pipe from the filter to the pressure pump, pressure pump side.

1. Disconnect the electrical connection from the fuel pressure regulator on the pressure pump.

2. Remove the band and disconnect the return pipe from the pressure pump.

3. Disconnect the rapid connector for the fuel intake pipe from the pressure pump.

4. Undo the bolts and remove the pressure pump complete with O-ring and coupling.

Refitting

- Place the water pump, complete with coupling and a new O-ring in its housing and secure it tightening the bolts to the recommended torque.

- Connect the rapid connector for the fuel intake pipe to the pressure pump.

- Connect the fuel return pipe to the pressure pump and tighten the collar.

- Connect the electrical connection of the fuel pressure regulator on the pressure pump.
