Rear upper arm

REAR UPPER ARM

Service repair no - 64.35.60

Remove

1. Raise rear of vehicle, one side.

WARNING: Support on safety stands.

2. Remove road wheel(s).
3. Support trailing arm on a jack at normal trim height.

4. Remove bolt securing upper arm to trailing arm.
5. Remove 2 bolts securing upper arm to body.
6. Remove upper arm.

Refit

1. Position upper arm and fit bolts to body, DO NOT tighten.
2. Fit bolt securing upper arm to trailing arm and tighten to 47 Nm.
3. Tighten upper arm to body bolts to 30 Nm.
4. Remove jack from trailing arm.
5. Fit road wheel(s) and tighten nuts to correct torque. See INFORMATION, Torque wrench settings.
6. Remove stand(s) and lower vehicle.

REAR UPPER ARM OUTER BUSH

Service repair no - 64.35.61

Remove

1. Remove upper arm. See this section.

2. Position arm, flange face UP on support tool 18G 1601/1 .
3. Position tool 18G 1601/3 on bush and press out bush.
