  1. Remove bolt securing crankshaft sensor to gearbox and release sensor.
  2. Position cloth to absorb fuel spillage.

  1. Release 4 clips securing fuel hoses to feed and return pipes. Disconnect hoses.

CAUTION: Plug the connections.

  1. Remove 2 bolts securing fuel pipe clamps and move pipes aside.
  2. Carefully release gear selector inner cables from selector levers.

  1. Fit 18G 284-11 to 18G 284 and remove 2 clips securing gear selector outer cables to bracket.
  2. Withdraw cables from mounting bracket.

CAUTION: Do not subject inner and outer cables to excessive bending.
