  1. Open luggage compartment, remove 2 Nyloc nuts securing bumper to body, collect plain washers.

  1. Using assistance, release both sides of bumper from body, remove bumper assembly.

Do not carry out further dismantling if component is removed for access only

  1. Remove sealing washer from upper studs bumper.

  1. Release each bumper insert from 5 clips. Remove inserts and clips.
  2. Transfer components removed to new bumper.

Refit

  1. Using assistance, fit bumper and engage studs to body locations.
  2. Fit washers and nuts to bumper studs and tighten to 22 Nm.
  3. Close boot.
  4. Fit nuts to side studs, adjust bumper sides and tighten nuts to 10 Nm.
  5. Engage wheel arch liners to bumper, fit and tighten screws.
  6. Fit and tighten bolt to L.H. wheel arch liner.
  7. Remove stand(s) and lower vehicle.
