Fuel filler flap release cable

Refit

1. Position cable to footwell and under seat mounting apertures.
2. Connect inner cable to lever and outer cable to abutment bracket.
3. Move carpet and underlay aside.
4. Align cable to sill and secure to clips.
5. R.H. steering: Feed cable across to L.H. side and secure cable to heel board clips.
6. R.H. steering: Position cable to rear seat pan and secure with tape.
7. Pass cable through squab striker panel and secure to filler aperture.

Fuel filler flap release cable

8. Connect cable assembly to fuel filler housing.

Taildoor release cable

9. Connect release cable to striker plate.
10. Fit striker plate to body and tighten screws.
11. Secure cable to rear panel with tape.

All models

12. Secure cable to clips in luggage compartment and close filler flap.
13. Fold carpet back, pass seat belts through carpet and position carpet under 'D' post finisher, driver's side.
14. Fit studs securing carpet.
15. Fit and tighten screws, 'D' post lower finisher, driver's side and secure carpet to door sills.
16. Fit front seat belt to sill, tighten bolt to 32 Nm. Fit bolt cover.
17. Fit release lever cover, tighten screw and fit knobs to lever.
18. R.H. steering: Fit L.H. 'D' post lower finisher, rear carpet retainer and sill finisher
19. Fit luggage compartment L.H. trim casing and carpet.
20. R.H. steering: Fit rear seat and squab.
    L.H. steering: Fit rear squab.
21. Fit rear window tray.
22. Fit 'B/C' post lower finisher, front and rear carpet retainers and sill finishers, driver's side.
23. Fit driver's seat, see Front seat.

Remove

1. Remove drivers seat, see Front seat.

2. Remove 3 screws, lift front door sill finisher and carpet retainer, drivers side.

3. Remove luggage compartment lid and fuel flap release control knobs from release levers.
4. Lift screw cover and remove screw. Remove cover.
