Fuel filler flap release cable (page 4 of 4)

24. R.H. steering: Release cable from heelboard clips.
25. Release carpet from drivers door sill, move carpet and underlay aside.

26. Release cable from sill clips.

Fuel filler flap release cable

27. Release outer cable from abutment and disconnect inner cable from fuel flap lever.

Luggage compartment lid lock cable

28. Release outer cable from abutment and disconnect inner cable from luggage compartment lid lever.

All 4 door models

29. Pull cable through seat mounting apertures and remove cable from vehicle.

Refit

1. Position cable to seat well and under seat mounting apertures.
2. Connect inner cable to lever and outer cable to abutment bracket.
3. Move carpet and underlay aside.
4. Align cable to sill and secure to clips.
5. R.H. steering: Route cable across to passengers side and secure cable to heelboard clips.
6. R.H. steering: Position cable to rear seat pan and secure with tape.
7. Pass cable through squab panel.

Fuel filler flap cable

8. Connect cable assembly to fuel filler housing.

Luggage compartment lid cable

1. Attach cable to cord left in lid during removal and draw cable through lid. Remove cord.
2. Connect inner cable to lock lever and outer cable to lock abutment.
3. Secure cable to luggage compartment lid hinge with cable clip.
4. Fit access panel to luggage compartment lid.
5. Fit and secure side trim casing to luggage compartment.
6. Fit luggage compartment carpet.
7. Position luggage compartment finisher and secure with nuts tightened to 10 Nm.
8. Fold passenger compartment carpet back into position and secure with studs.
