Taildoor release cable – tourer

Both cables

  1. Fit front door sill finisher and carpet retainer, drivers side.
  2. Fit drivers seat belt lower anchorage. Tighten bolt to 32 Nm.
  3. Fit D/E post finisher, passengers side.
  4. Fit rear seat squab to body. Fit and tighten bolts to 10 Nm.
  5. Fit rear seat cushion.
  6. Fit B/C post lower trim finisher, drivers side.
  7. Fit rear door sill finisher and carpet, drivers side.
  8. Fit the luggage compartment lid and fuel flap release levers cover, secure with screw and close cover.
  9. Fit stud to cover.
  10. Fit driver's seat.

TAILDOOR RELEASE CABLE – TOURER

Service Repair No. 76.37.71

Remove

  1. Remove RH 'D' post lower trim panel, see 'D' Post lower trim panel – Tourer.
  2. Remove luggage compartment trim finisher, see Luggage compartment trim finisher.
  3. Remove RH luggage compartment side trim, see Luggage compartment side trim – Tourer.

  1. Disconnect inner cable from latch release lever.
  2. Release outer cable from abutment bracket.
  3. Release cable from rear panel.

  1. Release cable from 4 clips in luggage compartment.
  2. Withdraw cable through rear seat squab striker panel.
