Engine cover

51. Connect ECM multiplugs.
52. Fit starter motor feed lead to starter motor and tighten nut.
53. Connect coolant hose to inlet manifold and secure with clip.
54. Connect vacuum pipe to inlet manifold.
55. Connect fuel pipe to injector rail.
56. Connect throttle cable to throttle cam and abutment.
57. Secure throttle cable to clip on inlet manifold.
58. Connect pipe from EVAP cannister purge valve to throttle body and secure with clip.
59. Fit air intake pipe and secure with clips.
60. Connect hose to coolant rail and secure with clip.

62. Models with A/C: Recharge A/C system. See AIR CONDITIONING, Adjustments.
63. Refill transmission with fluid. See AUTOMATIC GEARBOX - ’EM-CVT’, Adjustments.
64. Fit engine cover. See this section.
65. Fit engine compartment access panel. See BODY, Exterior fittings.
66. Connect battery earth lead.
67. Pressurise hydragas system and set correct trim height. See SUSPENSION, Adjustments.

Service repair no - 12.37.04/99

Remove

1. Remove hoodwell trim. See BODY, Interior trim components.
2. Remove sound deadener pad.

3. Remove 11 bolts securing engine cover.
4. Remove engine cover.

Refit

1. Position cover and secure with bolts.
2. Fit sound deadener pad.
3. Fit hoodwell trim. See BODY, Interior trim components.
