OIL PRESSURE RELIEF VALVE

Service repair no - 12.60.56

Remove

  1. Raise rear of vehicle.

WARNING: Support on safety stands.

  1. Remove road wheel(s).
Oil pressure relief valve – Remove road wheel(s).
  1. Remove 2 scrivets and Torx screw securing closing panel to subframe.
  2. Remove closing panel.
Oil pressure relief valve – Remove closing panel.
  1. Remove relief valve sealing plug and sealing washer.
  2. Remove spring and relief valve.

Refit

  1. Clean oil pump housing.
  2. Clean valve spring, valve and sealing washer.
  3. Lubricate relief valve. Fit valve and spring.
  4. Fit new sealing washer, fit and tighten sealing plug to 25 Nm.
  5. Fit closing panel and secure with fixings.
  6. Fit road wheel(s) and tighten nuts to correct torque. See INFORMATION, General data.
  7. Remove stand(s) and lower vehicle.
  8. Check and top up oil level See MAINTENANCE.
