  1. Fit new Patchlok bolts and tighten in sequence shown to 10 Nm.
  2. Fit and tighten bolt securing timing belt rear cover to 9 Nm.
  3. Align engine harness to oil pump, fit bolts and tighten to 10 Nm.
  4. Fit camshaft timing belt. See this section.

OIL SUMP

Remove

  1. Remove exhaust front pipe. See MANIFOLD & EXHAUST SYSTEMS, Repairs.
  2. Drain engine oil. See MAINTENANCE.
Oil sump – Drain engine oil. See MAINTENANCE.
  1. Loosen bolt securing engine rear mount to subframe.
  2. Remove nut and bolt securing engine rear mount to engine.
Oil sump – Remove nut and bolt securing engine rear mount to engine.
  1. Remove 2 bolts securing oil sump to gearbox.
