Exhaust front pipe - ’k’ series

6. Remove 3 flange nuts securing front pipe to manifold.
7. Release front pipe from manifold and support bracket studs. Remove front pipe from catalytic converter.
8. Remove gasket from manifold flange.

Refit

1. Clean manifold and front pipe flanges.
2. Fit a new gasket to manifold flange and catalytic converter flange.
3. Engage front pipe in catalytic converter and onto manifold studs and support bracket studs.
4. Fit manifold nuts, DO NOT tighten.
5. Fit catalytic converter flange clamp bolts and springs, fit and tighten nuts to 22 Nm.
6. Tighten flange nuts to 54 Nm.
7. Remove stand(s) and lower vehicle.

Remove

1. Raise front of vehicle.

WARNING: Support on safety stands.

2. Remove 2 flange nuts securing front pipe to catalytic converter.
3. Release mounting rubber from pipe bracket.

4. Remove 4 flange nuts securing front pipe to manifold.
