EXHAUST MANIFOLD GASKET - ’K’ SERIES

Service repair no - 30.15.12

Remove

  1. Remove front pipe to manifold gasket. See this section.

  1. Release heated oxygen sensor multiplug from bracket. Disconnect multiplug.
Exhaust manifold gasket - ’k’ series – Release heated oxygen sensor multiplug from bracket. Disconnect multiplug.
  1. Remove 5 nuts securing exhaust manifold to cylinder head.
  2. Remove exhaust manifold.
  3. Remove and discard exhaust manifold gasket.

Refit

  1. Clean manifold mating faces.
  2. Fit new gasket to manifold studs.
Exhaust manifold gasket - ’k’ series – Fit new gasket to manifold studs.
  1. Fit manifold on studs and tighten nuts in the sequence illustrated to 45 Nm.
  2. Connect heated oxygen sensor multiplug and secure to bracket.
  3. Fit front pipe to manifold gasket. See this section.
