INLET MANIFOLD GASKET - ’T’ SERIES

Service repair no - 30.15.08

Remove

  1. Remove inlet manifold chamber. See this section.

  1. Disconnect 4 injector multiplugs and position harness aside.
  2. Release clip and disconnect fuel return hose to fuel pressure regulator.

CAUTION: Plug the connections.

  1. Remove 2 bolts securing harness and fuel pipe clips to inlet manifold.

  1. Disconnect intake air temperature sensor multiplug.
  2. Remove 4 bolts securing fuel delivery hose to fuel rail.

CAUTION: Plug the connections.

  1. Remove 7 bolts and 2 nuts securing inlet manifold to cylinder head.
  2. Remove inlet manifold and discard gasket.

Refit

  1. Clean inlet manifold and cylinder head mating faces.
  2. Fit NEW gasket to cylinder head.
Inlet manifold gasket - ’t’ series – Fit NEW gasket to cylinder head.
  1. Fit inlet manifold to cylinder head, fit nuts and bolts and tighten to 25 Nm in sequence shown.
  2. Remove plugs and position fuel delivery hose to fuel rail, fit bolts and tighten to 10 Nm.
  3. Connect multiplug to air temperature sensor.
  4. Align harness and fuel pipe clips to inlet manifold, fit bolts and tighten to 10 Nm.
  5. Remove plugs and connect fuel return hose to fuel pressure regulator and secure clip.
  6. Position harness and connect injector multiplugs.
  7. Fit inlet manifold chamber. See this section.
