EXHAUST MANIFOLD GASKET - ’K’ SERIES WITH AIR CONDITIONING

Service repair no - 30.15.12/20

Remove

  1. Remove alternator. See ELECTRICAL, Repairs.
  2. Remove front pipe to manifold gasket. See this section.
Exhaust manifold gasket - ’k’ series with air conditioning – Remove front pipe to manifold gasket. See this section.
  1. Remove nut and 2 bolts securing alternator heat shield and remove heat shield.
  2. Remove alternator top mounting bracket.

  1. Release heated oxygen sensor multiplug from bracket. Disconnect multiplug.
Exhaust manifold gasket - ’k’ series with air conditioning – Release heated oxygen sensor multiplug from bracket. Disconnect multiplug.
  1. Remove 5 nuts securing exhaust manifold to cylinder head.
  2. Remove exhaust manifold.
  3. Remove and discard exhaust manifold gasket.
